Valentino Porcu was born in Cagliari and started his dance education in 2004 following professional programmes in Sardinia promoted and held by “IN and OUT BALLET” ( director Alessio Barbarossa ) and in Florence with a scholarship at the prestigious school of “Balletto di Toscana’ under the direction of Cristina Bozzolini.
During his schooling time he had the chance to work and collaborate with teachers such as: Ballet Master Eugenio Scigliano ( Aterballetto ), Ballet Master Alessandro Bigonzetti ( Aterballetto ), Silvia Chirico, Farida Faggi, Elena Sakharova, Eugenio Buratti ( Aterballetto ), Roberto Sartori ( Balletto di Toscana ), Mauro Astolfi ( Spellbound Contemporary Ballet ), Susanna Beltrami and Matteo Bittante ( Pierlombardo Danza ), Mikael Wattincourt.
After graduating he’s worked for choreographer Matteo Bittante in the production “Stralci”, for choreographer Virgilio Sieni in the production of “Don Quichotte” ( Teatro Lirico di Cagliari ) and for choreographer Christos Papadopoulos in the production “Le Rossignol” ( Teatro Lirico di Cagliari ). In 2010 he has danced in FRANKIE.O DJ music video directed by Paolo Carboni and choreographed by Alessio Barbarossa.
Valentino joined IN and OUT BALLET in 2008 and is currently solist dancer/assistant to choreographer Alessio Barbarossa and holds workshops and seminars across Italy.
