First soloist Royal Ballet Company
Born in London, she trained at The Royal Ballet School. Prizes include the 2003 Lynn Seymour Award for Expressive Dance and Silver Medal at the Adeline Genée Awards. She joined the Company, 2004, promoted to First Artist, 2008. Her repertory includes Effie, Princess Louise, Five Brahms Waltzes in the Manner of Isadora Duncan, Tatiana (Anastasia), Emily Dimmock (Sweet Violets), pas de six (Giselle), Fairy of the Crystal Fountain (Sleeping Beauty) and roles in Ceremony of Innocence, Monotones I, Dream, Romeo and Juliet, Song of the Earth, Serenade, ‘Emeralds’ (Jewels) and Infra. She has created roles in works by William Tuckett, Christopher Wheeldon, Wayne McGreggor, Kim Brandstrup, Crystal Pite and Hofesh Shechter.. In 2007 she danced the Two Pigeons pas de deux and Calliope Rag (Elite Syncopations) in Africa for the charity Dancing for the Children and appeared in Dame Vivian Westwood’s Gold Label ‘Chaos Point’ Gala in aid of the NSPCC. She featured in a film short, ‘Eleanor’ for Cobb Gallery and performed at Wilderness Festival in Dane Hurst’s ‘Finding Freedom’.
