Born in Russia and trained in Kiev Ballet School.
After the graduation joined Kiev Ballet, followed by English National Ballet, Bayerisches Staatsballett, City Ballet of London, and K Ballet. She performed solo and principal roles in most major classical ballets and modern repertoire.
From 2001, for eight years, she worked with Balletboyz directed by Michael Nunn and William Trevitt, performing works by William Forsythe, Paul Lightfoot, Charles Linehan, Christopher Wheeldon, Russell Maliphant, Cathy Marston, William Tucket, Liv Lorent and Rafael Bonachela.
In 2002, won the Time Out Live Award for “Outstanding Performance” in William Forsyth’s Steptext and in the following year “Outstanding Female Classical Artist Award” at the Critic’s Circle National Dance Awards.
In 2007 worked as a Production Assistant on TV documentary Strictly Bolshoi produced and directed by Michael Nunn and William Trevitt.
Oxana has also performed the role of the Queen in Mathew Bourne’s Swan Lake. Guested with Morphoses Company in New York, Benjamin Millepied’s Company tour in Leon and in 2014 back in Munich with Bayerisches Staatsballett performing Russell Maliphant’s Broken Fall.
In 2015 she come back to Balletboyz to perform in Young Men by Ivan Perez at Sadlers Wells Theatre.
In 2016 returned to English National Ballet on the research and development of Akram Khan’s Giselle.
Also, has worked on various commercial, film and photographic projects throughout her career.
